Introduction
This site is a library… My library, online, of things I produce to publish. Modest, as yet.
Words, here, or in the bar above, will take you where you wish. There are audio and text versions of everything. Sometimes the audio follows the text onto the site.

I’ve edited thousands of movies, from thirty-second news items, through hour-long documentaries to two-hour dramas, all for the small screen. Audiences of millions.
I have written hundreds of thousands of words, most of which were the basis of what subsequently happened on a small screen of some sort, or what came out of a speaker.
Very little of what I’ve written has been published as text.
One screenplay I wrote, a love story based on a Japanese guy who featured in contemporary newspapers, was principally set in Japan and England, in the late nineteenth century, with less-significant forays to Paris, St Petersburg and Washington DC. I was paid a small fee to write many versions. Potential American backers for the movie wanted to base it principally in the US, out of chauvinistic and budgetary concern. No concern for the story.
The project died, but the memory of the American backers remains as metaphor.
I wish to have more control than that, over what and how I publish.
Net publishing, with audio versions and live performance, suits me.
Printing books, as and when they’re wanted, is not difficult.
Readership and audience do me fine.
A living comes of it.
I enjoy what I do.
